The UK’s leading nursery brand, Mamas & Papas, is set to open a concession in NEXT Home, Solihull later this week, bringing its range of travel systems, nursery furniture and children’s clothing to new and expectant parents in the area.
Mamas & Papas will celebrate the arrival of the 1,800 sq ft concession on Thursday 28th October by offering free goodie bags to the first 50 customers.
As well as offering a carefully curated range of products, the concession will provide in-store services such as personal shopping appointments, car seat consultations and fittings, as well as click & collect. There will also be a multi-terrain test track for customers to see how each of the pushchairs move on different terrains.
The store will have extra hygiene and social distancing measures in place, and customers are encouraged to wear face coverings and use contactless payment methods where possible.
Nathan Williams, Chief Operating Officer at Mamas & Papas, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming our first customers through the doors in our new concession at NEXT Home, and to supporting all new and expectant parents in Solihull through their journey ahead.
“The Solihull concession marks our 11th successful opening with NEXT and is all part of our continued, exciting growth plan.”
The store will be open from 9am-9pm on Mondays – Friday, 9am-8pm on Saturdays, and 11am-5pm on Sundays. Free parking and baby change facilities are provided.
Last year, Mamas & Papas launched the UK’s first virtual personal shopping service for new and expectant parents, ideal for those that are unable to get to a store due to health reasons or other commitments. Personal shoppers in Mamas & Papas stores across the UK chat directly to customers over video call straight from the shop floor, answering questions and providing live demonstrations on everything from car seats to pushchairs.
The retailer also launched free virtual ‘Parents to Be’ group sessions which guide attendees through everything they need to know about parenting, with expert speakers and Q&A sessions.
