Record breaking micro artist to feature at The Luxury Show this autumn

Record breaking micro artist Willard Wigan is to be making a guest appearance at this year’s The Luxury Show to showcase some of his incredible microscopic  pieces to visitors.

The world-renowned artist, who has created artwork in the eyes of needles and the heads of pins, will be at the exclusive Midlands Luxury Show to speak to fans on the second day of the event (Saturday 29th September).

Birmingham-born Willard’s popularity has soared over the years since recognition grew for his microscopic art which can only be visible under a powerful microscope.

He will be bringing along some of his most famous pieces, including Megan and Harry, the world’s smallest watch which can be found on a hand of a wearable watch, and a scene from Frozen.

Willard said: “I am very much looking forward to coming along to the show and talking to the visitors about my journey into the art world. I will also be bringing along a surprise piece, so I am sure there will be plenty of interest in that, along with some of the other items that are going to be there over the two days.”

Along with featuring Willard, the exclusive show, which is in its third year, will have only the very best brands from across the globe for those who enjoy the finest things in life and live life in the fast-lane.

The show will be held once again at Britain’s leading hotel, golf and spa resort, The Belfry, and will be showcasing the pinnacle of aspirational products and companies refined in luxury.

Also confirmed for 2018 will be pieces by Silverfish Jewellery, luxury prestige cars by HR Owen, hot tubs, superyachts, security systems and wealth management specialists, among others.

The show will open at 10am on Friday, 28th September, and will include talks by Backes & Strauss, performances by Elegant Entertainment, Elmhurst Ballet Show, and a talk by a trustee of Caudwell Children’s Charity.

The Midlands Luxury Show will feature over 45 exhibitors – including exclusive entertainment and mouthwatering food and beverages from across the Midlands.

The Luxury Shows were founded by Amarjet Snehi, Managing Director of Equitrade Capital, alongside Andy Seger, owner of J&A Fine Art, and September’s show follows on from the success of the Cheshire show earlier this year.

Mr Snehi said: “There are just a few days to go until we open, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone along for the third year. It will have some of the top names from across many different industries.”

Mr Seger added: “We are really happy to also welcome Willard along to the show and want to thank him for talking time out from his increasingly busy and intricate work. His artworks are inspirational and unmissable, and we know he will draw the crowds.”
