Sabai Sabai Hold a Thai-tastic Celebration to Mark Their First Birthday

Sabai Sabai, everyone’s favourite Thai hotspot, threw the ultimate bash at its Station Road location to celebrate its successful first year.

Torquil and Juree Chidwick, the dynamic duo behind the deliciousness, rolled out the red carpet (and the dim sum!) for a night to remember. Media mavens and local legends who joined the celebrations were greeted by staff donning elegant traditional Thai attire.

From Oriental Bellinis to tantalising signature canapés straight from their mouth-watering menu, it was a spicy adventure from start to finish. Dishes included their legendary Thai Green Curry and coconut pandan cake desserts.

A raffle on the night raised £400 for charity Kids’ Village – the UK’s first respite holiday village for children with critical illness.

This family-run gem doesn’t just have one venue – the couple has been spreading joy for two decades now, with five fabulous restaurants under their belt. The first was Moseley in 2004 followed by Harborne, Stratford Upon Avon, Birmingham city centre and Solihull.

Juree Chidwick said: “We were delighted that so many people joined us to celebrate a year of Sabai Sabai in Solihull. There was a great atmosphere and it was fantastic to be able to thank people personally for their custom and support over the past 12 months.
