With the restrictions easing Harvey Nichols is pleased to announce that Wine Wednesdays will be returning on Wednesday 19th May and Harvey Nichols Birmingham Bar will reopen on 17th May.
The weekly Wine Wednesdays session is an informal wine tasting hosted by Wine Specialist Michael Tully at the Harvey Nichols Wine Shop. The complimentary tasting is a friendly affair, with Michael sharing two bottles of wine each week, complimented by some nibbles.
For the moment places will be limited to six guests, and nibbles will be served on sharing boards per household, but we hope to increase numbers as restrictions lift.
Our first Wine Wednesday will focus on sparkling wines, before we move onto all things France for the month of June, culminating with a Wine Club on Wednesday 23rd June, celebrating the French Riviera.
Wine Club, is a monthly ticketed wine tasting where we like to sample an elevated offer with substantial nibbles. On Wednesday 23rd June Wine Club will return with a special French Riviera evening, focusing on the Languedoc and Provence regions. Guests will enjoy wines paired with substantial canapes; tickets cost £30 per person.

Safety measures
Being able to go out again after spending so long indoors, although exciting, can be a daunting thought for many people.
However, Harvey Nichols has introduced a number of new safety measures to put customers totally at ease.
Perspex screens have been installed around the dining areas and a one-way system has been introduced to help people move around the Bar safely. There are also fewer dining tables to ensure social distancing between customers, and an enhanced cleaning schedule.
And of course, you’ll be able to find hand sanitising stations all around the store, meaning you can sit back and relax, eating and drinking with peace of mind that the environment instore is as safe as possible.
