Splash out on exclusive swimwear collections in Selfridges Birmingham

Whether it’s Marbs or Minehead you’re heading to this year, you can look stunning around the pool, thanks to exclusive swimwear collections now available in Selfridges Birmingham.

The Bullring department store has launched a refreshed, dedicated swimwear section, thanks to customer demand, in time for the summer holidays. Located on level 3, it features some of the hottest swimwear collections for SS19, including pieces by Tommy Hilfiger, Champion, Calvin Klein, Seafolly, Heidi Klum and Jets.

The department store is exclusive stockist of Hunza G’s fabulous seersucker, one-size-fits-all one-piece and bikinis. The Angela bikini (£140) is a textured seersucker set with flattering V-neck top and knotted satin tie at the centre, plus low-rise bottoms with high legs. The Trina two-piece (£140) is a simple, yet stylish bikini, gathered at the bust with braided straps, while high-cut legs flatter and accentuate the figure. For those who prefer a one-piece, the Maria square-neck swimsuit (£130) is a classic. Just add a hat, sunglasses and a cocktail.

Selfridges Birmingham is also the only store in the city to stock DSquared2 and Far Afield swim shorts for men. Canadian label DSquared2 comprises five distinctive styles of relaxed fit swim shorts: the Born in Canada-print is a stylish khaki design with tonal lettering (£150), while those loving attention-seeking prints can opt for the bold pink leopard-print shorts with DSquared3 logo on the back (£215). The collection also includes three Icon print designs in black, red and firetape print (£215).

British label Far Afield, which takes its inspiration from global travel, has launched a fabulous collection of graphic print swim shorts for the fashion-conscious holidaymaker on a budget. Featuring tropical floral, squares, cool floral graphic, or lively geometric print, the swim shorts (£45) are manufactured from consciously-sourced, high-quality materials.

Selfridges Birmingham also stocks a range of men’s beachwear from designers including Versace, Gucci, Moschino, Tommy Hilfiger, Boardies and Vilebrequin.

Children can also look stylish in the pool, with swimwear collections for girls and boys from Sunuva, SSS World Corp, Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenzo and Calvin Klein – just add some Sunnylife sunglasses and goggles. There’s nothing better than playing outside in the sun and Little Tikes outdoor sets include  inflatable slides and water tables, plus a Sizzle and Serve grill – just like a grown-up barbecue.

Sam Watts, general manager of Selfridges Birmingham, said: “We’re excited to relaunch a dedicated swimwear department in store, which we believe is the best place to source beach and pool pieces. Our collections for men, women and children are already proving incredibly popular with people stocking up new items for their holidays.”
