Birmingham based shopping park, The Fort, is asking its shoppers to ‘Think Fort First’ as the out-of-city retail destination moves through an exciting period of major redevelopment.
The Fort, a favourite with shoppers for over 20 years, is enhancing its customer experience with the introduction of new retailers, redesigned glass frontages and brand new onsite facilities.
The Think Fort First campaign aims to remind customers of the shopping park’s fashion, beauty and home retail brand offer, whilst reiterating the ease and convenience it provides with free parking.
The Think Fort First message will appear across advertising, social media and onsite signage as it works to keep the Fort at front of mind, whilst the three year transformation takes place.
Leading the way in the exciting development was the launch of the new JD Sports store, the second biggest out-of-city JD sports store in the UK, with a 9,971 sq. ft. ground floor and 19.8m of store frontage.
The Fort has also seen the arrival of designer retailer favourite, Tessuti opening onsite, housing men’s and women’s designer collections, including those from well-known brands; Hugo boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, emporio Armani and Parajumpers.
Marjan Horne, Centre Manager for The Fort, comments: “This is such an exciting time for The Fort and, after celebrating our 20th anniversary last year, I am absolutely thrilled that we are moving The Fort forward in order to give our shoppers the retail experience they deserve. The redevelopment is allowing us to talk to some really exciting retailers, some of which we have never had the likes of at The Fort before. I personally want to thank our customers again for their patience and support whilst we go through this change. Whether it’s for fashion, home or beauty, please do Think Fort First for your shopping!”
The Fort Shopping Park is located off the M6 between junctions 5 & 6, offering free parking and includes anchors Primark, Next, Boots and River Island plus a selection of restaurants such as Nando’s and Frankie and Benny’s.
