Tickets on sale for a fusion of music and dance at Birmingham Symphony Hall

Tickets have gone on sale for ‘A Fusion of Music and Dance’, the 2017 DMS Heart of England variety show at Birmingham Symphony Hall in May.

Now in its 7th year, the epic concert, which raises thousands of pounds for charities, has gone from strength to strength and this year features over 300 musicians performing live on stage with dancers, choirs and special celebrity guests.

Guest performers lined up to support the night include Britain’s Got Talent finalists Richard and Adam and Beau Dermott, Town hall gospel choir, NMTA winners Soul Kinda Wonderful and DMS Patron and rock legend Bev Bevan who will both perform and co-host.

Leigh Perry, principal and trustee of DMS Heart of England music academy is producing the show, which takes place on 7th May.

Leigh, who recently won Business Woman of the Year in the prestigious Birmingham Awards said: “This is always a massive project but gives so many students the fantastic opportunity to perform at the symphony hall alongside stars and legends like Bev Bevan. I am honoured that he is our school patron and delighted that we are able to raise funds for such amazing charities. I hope we sell more tickets than ever this year and fill the hall to the rafters.”

Leigh’s chosen charities over the years include RSPCA Birmingham, The Acorns Trust, Marie Curie and Help for Heroes. This year the show will be supporting the MS Society Solihull and Birmingham Dogs Home, as well as raising awareness for Delete Blood Cancer.

Tickets are available from DMS on 01564772831 as well as from THSH Box office.
