Blanc NRI on Hurst Street in the Arcadian has made its way to the coveted spot of top ranking Birmingham restaurant on TripAdvisor – and is giving away a meal for four to celebrate!
The hidden gem is consistently rated five stars by customers who have praised the delicious Indian cuisine and the sophisticated interiors and ambience. The 55 cover venue is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds, with an opulent décor that compliments the elegant cuisine. Sumptuous jade velvet set against marble wall panels and gold coloured accents provide a stunning backdrop and add to the exquisite dining experience .
Owner Husban Ahmed admits he’s delighted but not surprised that his restaurant has reached the top spot. He said: “At Blanc NRI, dining is more than a meal – it’s an immersive journey that we’ve crafted over a decade. We have reimagined fine dining to make it both lavish and affordable. We use a unique approach to cuisine which blends local and traditional techniques to deliver authentic and artistic dishes.”
A favourite among guests is the Lamb Railway curry, described as a “Taste of the Raj”, which is a nod to Spencer’s Railways Catering Services at Victoria Terminus. Another culinary shoutout is the Kadai Kurchan with lamb in a crushed coriander and red chilli masala, blended with no less than 37 spices. A new addition to the menu is the the Kozhi Varha Curry with succulent and tender boneless chicken.
For those seeking seafood indulgence, the Lobster Moilee is a must try with rich meat and a flavourful coconut sauce. Alternatively, the Tamarind Seabass Serenade and the Tiger Prawn Malabar Style are a treat for the tastebuds.
