The Belgrade Theatre is delighted to present a whole host of live music nights running through September. This season, get ready to experience top tributes to amazing acts including Take That and the king of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley.
On Weds 1 Sept, audiences are guaranteed a night they’ll Never Forget when The Best of Take That arrive in Coventry. Celebrating 30 years of the UK’s number one boy band, audiences are invited to come and enjoy their favourite Take That hits including Greatest Day, Back For Good, Relight My Fire, Everything Changes, Shine and many more.
The Belgrade marks another musical milestone on Thurs 2 Sept when The Illegal Eagles return to celebrate 50 years since the formation of the legendary West Coast band. Renowned for their trademark musical prowess, acute attention to detail and incredible showmanship, this is a must-see for all Eagles fans.
On Thurs 23 Sept, Gordon Hendricks, the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artiste Champion 2017, returns home to the Midlands with The Spirit of Elvis. Transporting audiences through time from the ‘68 special to the Vegas era, Hendricks breathes soul into ballads and those iconic jumpsuit numbers that set the stage on fire.
Completing the Belgrade’s summer of live music on Sat 25 Sept is RUSH – A Joyous Jamaican Journey. Narrated by local comedian John Simmit, this uplifting show is bursting with compelling stories of the Windrush Generation. Expect to hear the sounds of ska, rock steady, calypso, gospel, lovers rock, dance hall and reggae in this genre-hopping, continent-crossing musical celebration of the people who made the incredible journey to the motherland.
