Animal welfare charity Viva! returns for the third year in a row to host the Coventry Vegan festival, celebrating all things vegan.
The Coventry Vegan festival will take place outside Coventry Cathedral on Saturday 3rd August between 10:30- 5pm, with entry only £3 for adults and under 16s going free!
The Coventry vegan festival is home to over 80 stalls each offering unique vegan delights. This year, the festival also boats an outdoor vegan bar, bouncy castle and food trucks so you can soak up the summer sun!
So whether you’re looking for beautiful ethical clothing or just some foodie inspiration, the festival will be a brilliant day out for all the family.
Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to taste vegan food, explore cruelty-free clothing and cosmetics, and learn more about health and nutrition. From decadent brownies from Dark Matters, to vegan mezze and kebabs from Koocha, to traditional vegan halva from Sesame Kingdom – there’s something for everyone.
Viva! founder and director Juliet Gellatley said:
“Interest in veganism has continued to soar globally and shows no signs of slowing down. This immense growth in veganism can be seen in the amazing stallholders that we have planned for our festival. Viva!’s vegan festivals are a fantastic way of bringing people together and showcasing the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Regardless of dietary choices, we want everyone to come along and see just how wonderful vegan food can be.”
All proceeds go back to the charity to help Viva! conduct important undercover investigations, monitor the latest research on health and environmental issues, and host vegan outreach events.
