Indico Street Kitchen opens adding spice to Shirley, Birmingham.

New Indian Street food restaurant, Indico Street Kitchen has launched in Shirley, Solihull, exploding in vibrant colours, spices and Bollywood magic.

The interiors are super vibrant, with walls adorned with Bollywood style art  created by an international team of street artists. The ceiling is covered with a multitude of colourful umbrellas to brighten up the rainiest of days.

Adding something different they have a range of quirky touches such as shelves of tiffins, Indian dolls, and a kitchen area made to look like a truck; it really is a feast for the eyes and you won’t see anything like it in Brum.

Guests got the chance to try the tastiest dishes from the Indian street food menu (displayed in the style of a newspaper), with samples of Gol Gappas, Papri Chaat, Paneer Tikka to authentic juicy Chicken Tikka and Sheekh Kebabs.

Indico Street Kitchen has succeeded in creating a real sense of fun, with an exciting menu. It will definitely take you beyond the usual suburban curry house experience into a place that is warm, colourful and exotic and the Bollywood 70’s soundtrack will have you bopping in your seat – it’s sure to be a sure fire hit!
