Beer fans will flock to The Digbeth Estate for the return of this festival.
Beer Central Festival takes place for its third year this month. It takes place on the 16th and 17th of September 2022. Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will take place at the Tea Works and Typhoo Wharf on The Digbeth Estate.
Beer Central is run by the team behind the Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester and London Craft Beer Festival, We Are Beer. People can enjoy the festival over two days with a variety of craft beer, food and music with craft and artisanal producers joining from around the UK and beyond.
Over 40 breweries will feature in Beer Central’s lineup this year. Some of the lineup includes Birmingham Breweries Dig Brew, Attic Brew Co, GlassHouse Beer Co., and Green Duck Brewery. Purity Brewing, DEYA Brewing Company and Twisted Barrel Brewery are examples of the wider Midlands area that will be at the festival.
All beer is included in your ticket price.
Food at the festival is based on the concept of Live Fire Cooking. A special menu is served around fire pits. Enjoy live DJ sets for entertainment across the two-day event. DJ artists attending include Bam (Jungle Brothers), Sophie Lloyd and Dennie Bovell.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to try out the special festival beer at Beer Central too. The beer has been created by local brewery, Dig Brew, and North Brewing Co, The beer produces a lemony-citrus note cutting through tropical flavours. The festival beer is an IPA brewed with Kviek yeast. It’s definitely worth testing out for yourself!
