Your Quick Guide to AW22 Fashion Trends

It’s time to talk AW22 Fashion Trends! As we pack away our birkenstocks and linen dresses, it’s time to welcome Autumn fashion as we move into the new season.

Don’t worry though, those summer pieces you have loved wearing can continue to be worn over the next few months with just a few styling adjustments! From layering a jumper over your favourite midi dress and adding a belt, to still being able to wear vibrant colours but in much more weather appropriate textures.

Here are the top three Autumn trends to keep you stylish in the coming cozy months!

Fuchsia Pink

This colour exploded onto the runaway this spring with Valentino’s Ready-To-Wear Fall 22 collection and has firmly become the colour of the year. No longer are we limited to shades of dark burgundy and mustard but bright and vibrant colourful knitwear are an exciting new way to add colour to our Autumn wardrobe. If you’re feeling bold you could match multiple items to create a monochrome pink look that would make a real statement. A solution to if you feel this shocking shade of pink might be a little too much for you, how about incorporating it into your accessories with a bag or scarf to add a little pop to a plainer outfit.

Flared Bottoms

We’ve seen wide leg and bootcut denim make a comeback over the past couple of years but now the trend has moved to dominate the world of trousers and leggings. This is a great style to incorporate into your workwear or even if you want to try an alternative to wearing jeans. Go for a style that is high waisted and nicely fitted over the hips and thighs to give you the desired shape. If you want to really lean into the trend, purchase a pair that has a split going up the ankle. Footwear options to team with this trend can range from chunky trainers to your most glamorous pair of heels.

Cut Outs

Because who needs that extra bit of fabric? The cut out trend has been around for a little while now but we’re seeing a more refined version for AW fashion trends this year. With different fabrics such as wool and velvet, it’s certainly a style that you can lean into during the chiller months. Different ways to wear this trend are to give a little glimpse of the skin underneath or to add another dimension to a look by teaming it with a contrasting item. A great way to wear this style is to layer a cut out jumper casually over a relaxed shirt with jeans and boots.
