Less than 10 months after opening, Delilah’s Leicester Deli & Café has been awarded the coveted title of UK Deli of the Year, announced yesterday at the prestigious Farm Shop and Deli awards, at the NEC, Birmingham.
The annual awards recognise the best specialist independent food retailers in the UK, rewarding the highest levels of service, product knowledge, initiative, innovation and community involvement. They represent the pinnacle of fine food retailing, and this is the first time an award has been won by a Leicester establishment
In making the award to Delilah Leicester, the judges commented:

Upon receiving the award, owner Sangita Tryner commented:
