Harvey Nichols will celebrate the great flavours of its top local tipples during English Wine Week. From Saturday May 27-Sunday June 4, the luxury Mailbox store is showcasing the best wines and fizz from around the country with tastings and new launches.
Throughout the week shoppers can enjoy complimentary tastings of Harvey Nichols Sparkling Wine in the Wine Shop while the Bar will be offering a range of specially selected English wines by the glass, including Gusbourne Pinot Noir, Litmus Element 20 and London Cru Rosé. The week will also see Harvey Nichols introduce four new producers – Gusbourne, Hattingley Valley, Litmus and Wiston – to its Wine Shop shelves.
Rob Graves, Head of Wine & Food Buying at Harvey Nichols, explains: “Sales in English wine have been steadily increasing since 2011, but last year we saw a peak in interest. Our customers are hugely supportive of this category and they are keen to taste new expressions along with wines from lesser-known producers.”
