Also set to join the retail line-up is Yankee Candle with a new store on the lower mall. Due to open this winter, the brand will offer Highcross’ shoppers its extensive range of candles and fragrances.
Currently undergoing a period of change and development that is set to refresh both the shopping centre and Leicester city centre, Highcross has successfully attracted a range of high quality retailers and restaurants. In the past year alone, international fashion retailer QUIZ, Vietnamese restaurant Pho and leisure operator Treetop Adventure Golf have all signed up to debut in the city, and both Zara and JD Sports have chosen to significantly upsize their stores in the centre.
Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director, said “Highcross continues to go from strength to strength and these two new lettings mark the centre’s continued appeal to major brands. The news, coupled with recent decisions from JD Sports and Zara to upsize, reflects the strength of the centre and the city of Leicester. With a significant reconfiguration currently taking place allowing for new brands and concepts, Highcross is set to remain the destination of choice in the region for both occupiers and shoppers.”
