Aqua Park Rutland Opens for Fourth Season

Aqua Park Rutland welcomed the High Sherriff of Rutland and Vicky Evans from The Air Ambulance Service to officially open the park on 25 May for its fourth season.

The High Sherriff of Rutland cut the ribbon at the park, together with Aqua Park Rutland’s chosen charity, The Air Ambulance Service. The aqua park, located at Rutland Water near Leicestershire, is the perfect destination for families looking for a summer adventure, students celebrating the end of University exams, businesses looking for team building days out and much more!

Simon James, founder of Aqua Park Rutland, said: “It’s a pleasure to choose The Air Ambulance Service as our charity for another year. This local service performs vital work to the community and are encouraging our visitors to join us in raising money for the charity.”

“Changes for this year include a brand-new layout and it’s now open to six and seven year olds, who can join their families in a super soaking adventure.”

Vicky Evans, Community Fundraising Executive for The Air Ambulance Service, said: “It was great to attend the 4th season launch of Aqua Park Rutland, it’s a place where everyone can go and have a fun day out.

“We’re delighted that Aqua Park Rutland has chosen to support our lifesaving charity again, its continued support helps us to deliver critical care to patients as quickly and as safely as possible; I look forward to working with the team again this season.”

Visitors are encouraged to pre-book at aquaparkgroup.co.uk/rutland to avoid disappointment. Tickets for the park are priced at £20 off-peak and £22 peak for a 50-minute session.
