Free festival returns to the town’s streets on Sunday 9 October after the postponement of the original date.
The popular Arts Fresco festival has announced a new date for its 20th-anniversary celebration. After the September date was cancelled due to the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, the spectacular street theatre festival will now take place on the streets of Market Harborough on Sunday 9 October 2022.
The annual one-day event is one of the largest, free street theatre festivals in the UK. Arts Fresco has been running since 2022. This year, the festival will host a number of performances from some of Britain’s leading festival and street theatre companies. Some involved in the festival include Jon Hicks’ mind boggling art show ‘Icons’ to the New Orleans brassy sound of Arts Fresco’s favourite ‘King Brasstards’.
The festival is great for children too! The Children’s Village includes Enter Edem, Mr Shay, Pedestrian, Paint Pottle and Circus Box.
Arts Fresco is organised by a dedicated team of local business professionals who are passionate about arts and about Market Harborough.
