Belvoir Castle is throwing a huge summer party at the Engine Yard on Saturday 15 June to mark the official opening of its new cocktail bar.

A ‘Great Summer Party’ will take over the Engine Yard on Saturday 15 June with a day packed full of entertainment for all the family to mark the official opening of The Balloon Bar, the latest addition to the £3m artisan shopping village.

The fun starts at 10am with live music, children’s entertainers including balloon artists, a traditional Punch & Judy show, old-school games and lots more for all the family to enjoy.

The brand new Balloon Bar will offer hand-crafted cocktails and mocktails, specifically created for the new venue by the resident mixologist and inspired by the Belvoir gardens, along with delicious tapas to enjoy within relaxed and intimate surroundings.

Choose from cocktails inspired by the hot air balloon theme such as ‘Up, Up and Away’ and ‘Around the World’ or enjoy a ‘Japanese Blossom’ or ‘Duchess’s Garden’ inspired by the castle’s stunning gardens.

Emma, Duchess of Rutland, says: “We’re delighted to be able to bring this new bar to visitors to the Engine Yard. It’s a lovely place to spend time with family and friends with its distinctive interior, as well as an outside terrace for those sunny days. Our summer party offers something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day, as well as the chance to sample a hand-crafted cocktail or something from the delicious tapas menu.”
