Multi-award-winning Chutney Ivy restaurant in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter launched the city’s hottest new lunchtime networking event last Thursday (25TH January).
The inaugural Chutney Ivy Curry Club event was a SOLD-OUT event with more than 50 business leaders and influencers attending, ready to make connections and do business.
On the launch of the networking event, Shaf Islam co-owner of Chutney Ivy said: “We are thrilled that this lunchtime networking event has been such a recipe for success. Our aim is to not only attract regular attendees, but also grow the audience by encouraging new businesses to join us each month. This way, guests can always be guaranteed to meet a new business associate, as well as strengthen existing relationships”.
The event, organised by Fraser Urquhart Media, also shone the spotlight on the Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations event, which comes to Leicester 9-11 March. Their Chief Executive, David Pond, talked about this World-Class event and urged Leicestershire businesses to get involved.
Sticking strictly to its 12-3.-2.30pm ‘express networking’ remit, guests were treated to a buffet lunch by the Chutney Ivy chefs. Their highly trained chefs fuse the very best of traditional Indian cooking techniques with the freshest ingredients and their inimitable contemporary twists. Chutney Ivy is the current title holders of the Best Restaurant in the Leicester Curry Awards and are looking to retain this title in the 2018 awards.
