Visitors can meet special guests, including; Neve McIntosh, Colin Baker, Jemma Redgrave, Paul McGann, Peter Davison, Dan Starkey and Sylvester McCoy.
The whole Centre will be filled with costume characters, including some of the Doctors most fearsome foes.
A full scale TARDIS interior has been created, as well as a fan built recreation of the Dalek City, including a 14ft Emperor Dalek. In addition to this there will be a full exhibition of costumes from the TV show, live sculpts, talks, workshops, tours and, of course, the science behind our time travelling Time Lord.
Malika Andress, Head of Marketing at the National Space Centre, said; “The event has been running for four years and it has grown year on year. This year we have literally run out of space for all of the amazing content we have managed to secure. We have tried to plan an event that includes something for everybody, from a Mastermind quiz for hardcore fans, right through to a costume competition for our youngest visitors. Our guests for this year have been fantastic, so we will have talks from behind the scenes, professional photo shoots and an opportunity for fans to meet their heroes.”
The event will see the expansion of the special “Artists Alley”, that includes some of the UK’s most influential and well known artists, highlighting their work with the Doctor Who Brand.
This is one of the Centre’s most popular events of the year, with tickets selling out in 2016, so anybody wishing to attend is advised to book in advance to guarantee entry.
