Build Up Your Black Book With Free Monthly Business Networking At The Gresham

The Gresham Network

A new networking event is launching in Leicester this April. The Gresham Network will take place on the first Thursday of each month and will run for two hours from 4pm to 6pm. It offers an opportunity for business people to come together in an informal and sociable setting to talk shop (or not!) build new, and strengthen existing relationships.

The network has been initiated by a group of businesses including The Gresham Aparthotel, Black Iron Social, Gresham Works, Associate Events, Pattersons Commercial Law, Metro Bank and Voluntary Action Leicester.

Anyone is welcome at the networking events, which will be free to attend without any need to book.

There will be no speakers or presentations, because the primary aim is to build relationships with other business people in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Eloic Montagnier, General Manager of The Gresham Aparthotel, said: “We’re really excited to launch The Gresham Network. Over the past two years there have been so few opportunities for good old face-to-face interaction and that is so important for developing successful business relationships.

“We were keen to create a totally  informal atmosphere with no pressure attached. It is for this reason that we decided not to have speakers or any requirement to book or pay a fee. It’s the social interaction which has suffered over the past couple of years so that was the thing that we decided was most important to lead with.”

Newly opened in November 2021, The Gresham is an ideal venue for the Network to meet. It offers a vibrant and creative space, ideal for this type of event, and is a hub for a range of businesses who either stay at the aparthotel, work within the communal office facilities at Gresham Works or enjoy top quality business lunches at Black Iron Social.

The Gresham Network will take place at The Gresham Aparthotel from 4pm to 6pm on the first Thursday of every month from Thursday 7 April. Future dates include Thursday 5 May, 2 June, 7 July, 4 August, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November and 1 December.
