The award-winning My Delhi Street Eatery plans to infuse Leicester’s city centre with authentic Delhi flavours this autumn.
This will mark My Delhi’s first opening outside of the North East and will be the third jewel in their culinary crown, joining their highly acclaimed establishments in Newcastle and Sunderland.
With a bright and vibrant interior, they offer a fun setting serving up authentic favourites inspired by the roadside stalls of Delhi. With expert craftsmanship from Delhi native chefs, the menu invites diners to embark on a culinary journey through North India.
My Delhi has scooped a number of awards including National Chef of the Year (ARTAs 2022), Best Takeaway in the North East (Just Eat Awards), Best Street Food Restaurant (Nation’s Curry Awards), as well as winning the popular BBC programme Britain’s Best Takeaway.
Their menu features Street Plates, Tandoori Street Plates, Roadside Curries, and Sweet Things. They also offer Indian-inspired cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks. Tuck into Chef Gomez’s Croquettes filled with chicken tikka, potato and cheese, then indulge in their signature Butter Chicken 1950s before rounding off with a portion of Chef’s Gulabjamun with ice cream.
