Local charity Age UK Leicestershire & Rutland’s much awaited Wills Promotion is running once more from the 1st – 31st August 2021.
The successful scheme is supported by more than twenty-five offices of local Solicitors who have generously agreed to reduce their Will Writing charges for older people (55+) to only £35 + VAT for an updated or a single uncomplicated Will for the duration of the promotion.
Most people appreciate that it is extremely important to make a Will, but unfortunately,7 out of 10 people die without a will in place, despite the clear benefits. By making a Will you ensure that your family have peace of mind for the future… and even if you have made a will, perhaps it was so long ago that it is time to consider whether it needs revising.

2020 was an extremely hard year for everyone. We were called on to support thousands of local older people to cope with the practicalities of Covid – picking up their shopping and prescriptions – as well as supporting their mental and emotional health through befriending calls and counselling support.
If we can encourage more people to support us with a gift in a will or a donation, it will help secure the long term future of a vital local independent charity which has been a lifeline for the older people of Leicestershire & Rutland for the past 70 years.
