Harry Hill, Ben Elton and Iain Stirling Spring into Loughborough!

Loughborough Town Hall is delighted to announce its vibrant line-up for the start of 2025, with shows that promise something for everyone. From incredible live music to educational exhibitions to national treasures returning to the boards once more, it’s set to be a start to the year to remember. 

Hilarious comedy

This season has an incredible line-up of some of the UK’s most celebrated comedians, set to rival any stage in the UK, with Harry Hill, Ben Elton, Iain Stirling and Milton Jones getting audiences in uproar in the New Year.

Pop your oversized collar and waggle your tongue because comedy legend and national treasure Harry Hill is back on tour (28 Feb)! Celebrating 60 glorious years with his unique humour in New Bits & Greatest Hits, Harry Hill is once again giving fans a chance to see his unmatched blend of surreal, slapstick and observational comedy live.

Ben Elton(13 Feb) will bring the Authentic Stupidity tour to town as the undisputed godfather of modern stand-up delivers a cross-generation hit that explores humankind’s greatest threat – not Artificial Intelligence but the very real idiocy seen in everyday life! Then on 28 February Edinburgh Fringe sensation, Ahir Shah, performs his hit show Ends.

In March, Milton Jones(19 March) delivers his superb one-liners in Ha!Milton (not a musical!), while April sees Iain Stirling arrive in Loughborough with his new tour RELEVANT (16 April). The iconic voice of Love Island and a BAFTA-award winning comedian who is quickly becoming a national sensation in his biggest tour to date. 

Live music and thrilling musicals

Live music lovers can dive into thrilling musicals, and timeless tribute performances in 2025. From enjoying popular new musicals like The Simon and Garfunkel Story(30 Jan) to the mysterious An Evening of Burlesque (4 April) later in the year.

Renowned for standing ovations across the globe, The Simon and Garfunkel Story (30 Jan)will delight Loughborough audiences with the tale of the musical double-act’s incredible origins and career, packed full of memorable hits.

Meanwhile, lovers of the The Elvis Years (14 Feb) can relive the story of ‘The King’, and audiences can get ready for a big girls’ night out celebrating epic and unforgettable power ballads from the biggest female superstars in Big Pants Party (31 Jan).

Further into the year, tribute fans can enjoy incredible vocals with Luther Live (27 Feb), hits from Neil Diamond in Hello Again (12 March), and the immortal songbook of Bob Marley in Legend(13 March).

Incredible drama, unique exhibitions and entertainment for young audiences

Delivering for audiences of all ages and whatever your taste, Loughborough Town Hall has something for everyone in the New Year!

The much-anticipated arrival of Dracula(25-26 Feb) is sure to set a chill down the spine as this brilliant adaptation blends the Victorian Gothic with contemporary to bring an exhilarating theatrical experience by Blackeyed Theatre.

Plus, join Psychic Sallyon 28 Jan for a fantastic night of psychic power from the nation’s favourite, back on tour to wow audiences with her modern take on mediumship.

For kids, Pure Imagination promises a beautiful dance extravaganza featuring the most talented young local dancers on the 15February, while RARE productions have been hard at work gettin’ their head in the game to perform High School Musicalon the 20, 21 and 22 of February. Further into the year, families can look forward to The Little Mermaid, a brand-new family musical coming to Loughborough on 25 April.

Meanwhile, exhibitions and workshops in the Sock Gallery will be getting your noggin whirring throughout the start of 2025, with Making Connections local art exhibition 16 Jan-22 Feb, learn to createWet Felting Seascapes with Karen Stewart (15 Feb), and pick up a new skill with Punch Needle Sessions (15 March).
