‘Tis the season of comfort and joy this December in Leicester as customers dreaming of a white Christmas can experience fresh snowfall every day, without the cold noses and soggy toes, at Highcross.
From now until Christmas Eve the installation in St Peter’s Square will give customers the chance to take a break from their Christmas shopping in a snowy winter wonderland.
Curated and operated by creative events agency, Beautiful Productions, the installation will produce magical snow flurries every 15 minutes between 12pm and8pm, perfect for that iconic snow globe moment.
Highcross will be extending its opening hours throughout December. Safety remains Highcross’ number one priority and the safety measures introduced earlier in the year, such as the one-way system and mandatory face coverings, remain in place.
As well as monitoring footfall to make sure everyone can social distance easily, customers can also continue to use Highcross’ Crowd Checker feature on its website for live updates on when is best to visit to beat the crowds, and customers are advised to avoid peak times when they can.
