Leicester’s Independents Are In, Are You?

Leicester’s thriving independent scene is at the forefront of a new campaign, delivered in partnership with BID Leicester and a host of local independent businesses.

It’s designed to encourage consumers to shop local and discover what the city has to offer.

Businesses involved in the campaign will proudly be displaying the “We’re in” logo in their windows, so customers will know they are supporting an independent when they come in. The concept will also incorporate a dedicated website, social media channels and advertising campaign.

To celebrate the launch, an “Ultimate Independents Weekend” competition package is on offer for one lucky winner and a guest, which can be entered via the Independent Leicester website. The prize includes overnight accommodation at St Martins Lodge; a Chocolate Workshop at Cocoa Amore; shopping vouchers for SET and Pilot; treatments at Femi Beauty; a goodie bag from Harriman & Co; bottle of bubbles courtesy of Exchange Bar; a private whiskey tasting at 23 Wine & Whiskey, plus delicious meals and treats from James Café Bistro, Gelato Village, King Richard III Pub & Chophouse and Queen Victoria Arts Club.

An ‘Independents Weekend’ will also be running on the 28th and 29th September, where customers are being encouraged to show support for the campaign by shopping local and checking the LoyalFree app for amazing deals.
