LAOS Presents Elvis Show ‘All Shook Up’ in Lougborough

Elvis is back in the building at Loughborough Town Hall this March as LAOS presents the hit-filled feelgood show All Shook Up.

Featuring some of the king’s biggest hits, including Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes, Love Me Tender, Hound Dog, C’mon Everybody, All Shook Up, Don’t Be Cruel, I Can’t Help Falling In Love, A Little Less Conversation and more, this is a show guaranteed to have you singing and dancing all the way home.

In a small 1950s American town, life is quiet as the mayor keeps a tight moral hold on society.
But when guitar-playing roustabout Chad rides his motorbike into town, everyone starts to realise that they just can’t resist the lure of rock & roll and life spectacularly changes for many in sometimes unexpected ways.

Josh Hill heads up LAOS’ cast as the hip-swiveling Chad with other principal roles taken by Nicole Ray, James Highton, Jo Dring, Clare Proctor, Laura Kidger, Mark Chinnery, Hannah Bailey, Jack Cooling and Adrian Dobson.

This will be LAOS’ first show for two years as the Covid-19 pandemic has meant their last production was The Sound of Music back in March 2020, just before the first lockdown.

As the longest-established group in the town, LAOS reached the milestone of 125 years last year – but again Covid denied them the chance to celebrate.

But now, they are back and all the cast can’t wait to get back on the stage and entertain you all again with this fantastic show.

So C’mon Everybody, It’s Now or Never. Don’t Be Cruel, just Let Yourself Go, dig out your Blue Suede Shoes and Follow That Dream by being All Shook Up by the joy of watching great live theatre again with LAOS.

The show is at the Town Hall from March 8-12 at 7.30pm each night, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
