Responding to the hugely successful festival this year, Big Difference Company have announced some details for 2024.
The Gala Preview Show for the Leicester Comedy Festival 2024 will return to De Montfort Hall. The tickets are now on sale for the always highly anticipated show which kicks off Europe’s biggest and longest-running comedy festival.
This annual gala show began back in 2002 and is an opportunity for audiences to preview acts from the festival and get a flavour of what’s to come. Always a sell-out, the show has previously hosted appearances from Jimmy Carr, Sarah Millican, Sue Perkins, Rosie Jones, Jenny Éclair and Milton Jones.
Acts due to appear at this year’s show will be announced in the coming months.
Big Difference Company have also announced that the first ever Kids Gala Preview Show will take place next year. It will be hosted by Y Theatre and will officially launch the Kids’ Comedy Festival 2024. The preview show will peel back the curtain to reveal some of the most exciting acts coming to perform at The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival in 2024. The superb line-up of big names, familiar faces and rising stars in children’s comedy will be revealed soon.
Next year’s dates for Leicester Comedy Festival and the UK Kids Comedy Festival are 7 – 25 February 2024.
