Last week, Deliveroo launched the scheme where customers will now receive £5 off on delivery orders from their favourite local restaurants every Monday-Wednesday during September.
Customers in Leicester went mad for Bulgogi Chicken, being the most ordered dish in the city, followed by Chick-a-boo from Boo.
Following the success of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out discount scheme, Deliveroo’s ‘Eat In To Help Out’ initiative has been launched to support small local restaurants and provide the public with discounted food to enjoy at home.
The top five dishes ordered in Leicester were:
- Bulgogi Chicken | Grounded Kitchen
- Chick-a-boo | Boo
- Mighty Memphis | Chickano’s
- Waffle Bites | Chocoberry
- Chicken Biryani | Tamatanga
There are more than 16,000 local restaurants participating in Eat IN to Help Out throughout September as Deliveroo does all it can to keep small businesses afloat and help customers out. Alongside the discounts, new customers will get 14 days free delivery for the months of September and October.
To claim their £5 discount, customers need to use the following codes on orders above £20:
- ‘EATIN3’ between 14/09/20 and 16/09/20
- ‘EATIN4’ between 21/09/20 and 23/09/20
- ‘EATIN5’ between 28/09/20 and 30/09/20
