BID Leicester has confirmed that Leicester Restaurant Week will return. It will take place in autumn with a feast of deals on offer.
The event will take place from Monday, October 17 to Sunday, October 23. This event will shine a spotlight on some of the best eateries in Leicester. Leicester Restaurant Week will give locals and visitors alike the opportunity to try somewhere new, or an excuse to head back to one of their favourite spots. The participating restaurants will offer an exclusive deal, for one week only.
Price points for the week will be fixed at £5, £10, £15 and £20. Menus are available across brunch, lunch and dinner. The event will offer people the chance to try a variety of new venues and dishes without breaking the bank.
A hugely popular and successful concept in other key cities throughout the UK such as Newcastle, London and York, Restaurant Week gives businesses the chance to showcase an exclusive menu, or be creative and offer something new to customers for the duration of the week.
More than 2,600 vouchers were downloaded by hungry patrons during the inaugural Leicester Restaurant Week in 2021. 30 businesses were involved, some of which were fully booked as diners clamoured to make the most of limited-time offers.
Restaurants already confirmed to return with deals this year. They include Sonrisa, Giggling Squid, Knight & Garter and The Rutland & Derby. Over the upcoming weeks, many more are to be announced – including some new names making their first appearance in this event.
