BID Leicester has announced that the hugely popular Leicester Restaurant Week will return to the city for its third year this autumn, with an array of delicious dining deals.
Scheduled to take place 16 – 22 October, the Restaurant Week is back to shine a spotlight on the very best eateries in Leicester, giving locals and visitors alike the opportunity to try somewhere new, or indulge at a favourite spot.
Leicester Restaurant Week was set up to encourage people to support hospitality businesses in the city whilst giving them the chance to try somewhere new. More than 2,600 vouchers were downloaded by hungry patrons during the inaugural Leicester Restaurant Week in 2021, with exclusive menus available at 30 businesses. Last year, punters downloaded over 3,800 vouchers for deals at more than 35 restaurants, many of which were fully booked all week as diners clamoured to make the most of the limited time offers.
Upcoming Delights
This October, diners will once again have the chance to enjoy the city’s foodie scene as restaurants participating in Leicester Restaurant Week 2023 offer exclusive deals for one week only. Price points will be fixed at £5, £10, £15, £20 and £25 with menus available across brunch, lunch and dinner, giving everyone an opportunity to sample the huge variety of venues, dishes and cuisines Leicester has to offer, without breaking the bank.
Full details of all the venues involved and those all-important, mouth-watering menus will be available in September.
Plus, for the first time, Restaurant Week will coincide with some monstrous goings on in the city centre, as the Leicester Monsters trail launches in the same week – also in association with BID Leicester. Keep an eye out for the huge, illuminated beasts popping up atop some of Leicester’s city centre landmarks!
