LDIF is Leicester’s annual dance festival that delivers live performances by dancers and dance companies based in the UK and abroad.

This year’s programme for Leicester’s annual dance festival, LDIF, opens on April 29th – International Dance Day – and closes on May 6th.

Let’s Dance International Frontiers provides an extensive programme for everyone inspired by dance to enjoy. Theatre performances will take place at the Curve theatre and street performances of dance, music and poetry wll take place across the city throughout the week. The festival also has plenty of opportunities to meet the dancers, join a workshop or masterclass, or relax at one of LDIF’s popular networking events.

One of the programme’s highlights at Leicester’s annual dance festival includes the UK premiere of BLACK HOLE: TRILOGY and TRIATHLON. This is a multidisciplinary performance choreographed by the award-winning movement artist Shamel Pitts, co-created and performed by his Brooklyn-based arts collective TRIBE.
