A Leicestershire civil parish has galloped into fifth place as one of the nation’s top destinations for equestrian getaways.
Equestrian specialists HarryHall.com have unveiled The UK’s Best Horse-Friendly Staycations – a first-of-its-kind, interactive guide designed to help travellers discover scenic hacks, hidden routes and accommodation tailored for both horse and rider.
Newbold Verdon, home to a purpose-built equine competition and training centre, has been crowned thanks to its access to bridleway, beautiful parks and rich local green space.
Across the UK, more than 3,000 holiday homes now boast stabling or riding facilities, signalling a rise in demand for horse-friendly escapes and bookings for staycations have also risen by 47 percent post pandemic.
