Restaurant263, officially recognised as Leicestershire’s ‘Best Fine Dining Restaurant 2023’ has announced the expansion of its critically acclaimed 8-course tasting menu to include an all-new À La Carte aspect.
This exciting, 35-seat, boutique restaurant has garnered multiple awards and accolades since it was taken on in 2021 by independent hospitality specialists, SRK Hospitality – owner/operators of much-loved venues such as Barceloneta, Bar Dos Hermanos, 1573 Bar & Grill and previous owners of The White Peacock in Leicester.
Since its inception, Restaurant263 has won multiple awards, most notably ‘Best Fine Dining Restaurant’ in 2022 and again in 2023, in the well-respected Leicestershire Tourism Awards.
It’s not hard to see why. Over the past two years, Restaurant263 has become renowned among foodies who have come from far and wide to experience its exceptional, contemporary 8-course tasting menu, delivered by their talented team of in-house chefs – some of whom have been classically trained in Michelin-starred venues.
The Proprietor of SRK Hospitality Ltd comments: “We’ve enjoyed tremendous success over the past two years with our bold – and locally sourced (wherever possible) – 8-course tasting menu.
Don’t worry, that’s not going anywhere! But, we have listened to guest feedback who asked for an individually priced, A La Carte option, which we’re excited to announce today.”
He continues: “We have spent the last few months perfecting our A La Carte menu, which we believe to be the most exciting of any restaurant in the city and Leicestershire county – as you’d expect from the esteemed chefs of Restaurant263.”
Launching mid-February, the À La Carte menu will be available Wednesday to Saturday. The 8-course taster menu is available on Fridays and Saturdays only. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available on both menus.
Restaurant263 also offers a special and exclusive Valentine’s menu from 14 to 17 February 2024.
