National new homes builder, Miller Homes, has unveiled the three-bedroom Pebworth, showhome at its Highgrove Fields development.
Situated on Seagrave Road in Sileby, the new development features a selection of 195 two, three and four-bedroom homes, including 59 affordable homes.
Here, Andy Richardson, managing director at Edward Thomas Interiors, takes us on a tour of the new showhome, discussing its style inspiration and sharing tips for how homeowners can achieve a similar finish in their own homes.
Kitchen-diner
This kitchen-diner is large, open-plan and offers the perfect space for some relaxing family time both to dine and entertain.
There is a wooden panel feature to one wall, contemporary artwork and a cosy seating area for families to watch TV together.
Lounge
The spacious lounge encompasses plenty of seating, with two sofas and an occasional armchair. A contemporary media unit frames one of the walls, which is also wallpapered with a geometric, textured design adding some character to the room.
A bespoke picture rail has been fitted behind one of the sofas and is dressed with artwork and accessories to reflect the overall contemporary design. Picture rails like this really help to frame a room and create a talking point.

Principal bedroom and second bedroom
Both the principal bedroom and second bedroom are designed to feel glamorous, and include feature wall murals alongside statement headboards.
Muted deep blues are complemented by white and blush accessories and soft furnishings, creating an elegant and calming atmosphere.
Layering is also a great way to add interest and colour to a space, as seen here in each room with both the textured bed linen, wall design and cushions.
Bedroom three
The third bedroom is a playful child’s bedroom, featuring a Dr Doolittle theme. Contrasting animal-inspired accessories and artwork help to give the room real personality, as well as providing the option of easily switching out accessories as taste’s change over time.
Don’t be afraid to be bold and pair contrasting patterns or colours together – not only does it create a fun and enjoyable space, particularly for children, it cleverly invites more colour into the room and gives the space its own identity. Take the teal and white animal print wallpaper, alongside the blinds and bedding – one thing they all have in common is a shade of blue and green, helping to tie the accessories and decoration together harmoniously.
Family bathroom
This family bathroom oozes warmth and freshness, thanks to the sandy-colour tiles, biscuit-coloured walls and addition of green plants. The geometric bath towels help to break up the neutral palette and, best of all, can be easily switched out for other coloured towels or accessories, helping to keep the room on trend.
