Peep Eyewear in Loughborough have made it to the finals of the The People Environment Achievement Awards (https://www.peaawards.com) -the UK’s leading annual awards which congratulate the people and innovations helping to turn the idea of greener world from a hope into a reality.
Peep Eyewear (https://www.peepeyewear.co.uk/) mix the glasses and sunglasses of yesterday with the lenses of today by refurbishing vintage frames to produce stylish eyewear which is eco-friendly. Plus, for each pair sold, a tree is planted. Peep also offers a polishing service to keep glasses in tip top shape so they’ll be used for many more years and stay out of landfill.
2020 is the 10th anniversary of these awards and this milestone is being celebrated with extra categories and a specially designed, imaginative online awards ceremony on Friday 20th November, 5 – 6.30pm. Anyone can watch the ceremony – for free.
