Leicester-based music licensing company, PPL PRS Ltd will be hosting their first virtual recruitment fair on Thursday 6th May, as they continue to increase their workforce across the region. The event, which is free to attend via Eventbrite, will include information sessions as well as talks from current members of staff, and the opportunity to view the office space at Mercury Place via a virtual live stream.
Attendees will also have the chance to discuss current positions which include roles in Sales, Finance and Customer Service.
PPL PRS, who are responsible for issuing TheMusicLicence to businesses that use music on their premises, hired approximately 200 new members of staff ahead of their launch in February 2018 and have continued to attract employees who reflect their core values of ‘passionate’, ‘collaborative’, ‘straightforward’, ‘play fair’, and ‘value music’.
The not-for-profit organisation, whose offices have meeting rooms named after music genres and a 90sqm mural dedicated to music through the decades, now has over 270 members of staff, many of whom have been with the company from the start.
Employees, known as ‘band members’, at the company receive a range of benefits, including Perkbox, annual music vouchers and regular social events and as well as a variety of training and career progression opportunities.
