Have you ever tried hot yoga? Now you can for free at the new Bikram Yoga studio in Leicester. The new studio is located on Rutland Street in Leicester. It has been open since the end of September following significant upgrades to the space. They’ve added a proper hot room with infrared heaters and showers. The free taster classes take place 26-27th November.
Next weekend you can have the chance to try this iconic yoga class for free.
Enjoy a free Guided Meditation and free Sound Bath as well as free Yin and Restorative Yoga classes.
The new Bikram Yoga studio in Leicester provides the same iconic hot yoga class which was originally brought to Leicester by instructor Libby Nockles some 20 years ago. The Friar Lane business closed in 2019 following the sale of the building for student accommodation.
The new studio is the only dedicated Bikram Yoga studio in the Midlands.
It’s already attracting students from around the world who are keen to seek out the original Bikram series taught by certified teachers.
Bikram Yoga is form of yoga popularised by Bikram Choudhury in the 1970s. Based on the teachings of his guru Bishnu Ghosh, this therapeutic practice involves 26 postures and two breathing exercises in a 90-minute class in a heated room.
Anyone interested in coming to try a class during the event should register online in advance at https://bikramyogaleicester.com/schedule/.
