Music enthusiasts are invited to spend an evening at Loughborough Endowed Schools Recital Hall, as it hosts a charity piano concert in aid of The World Peace Flame.
The event, which takes place on Friday 6th October from 7pm, will raise money for an education package called ‘Peace in your Hands’. The initiative is designed specifically for 8-12 year olds, and teaches young people invaluable skills to help them deal with life’s challenges more effectively.
Czech pianist Petra Milarova and Canadian pianist Melanie Reinhard, both of whom are part of the keyboard faculty at Loughborough Endowed Schools, will be performing with other guests. The evening will include works by Chopin and Janacek as well as Schubert’s Fantasie in F minor for piano four hands.
The concert is open to members of the public, and tickets are £5 for adults, under 19s go free, and can be purchased on the door or online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/lesmusic.
