Star of BBC’s Live at the Apollo, comedian and TV’s Stephen Bailey makes a return to the stage with his new live show, CRASS, coming to Leicester on 13 April.
From a working-class background in Manchester, six years working at Sainsbury’s, many a carvery and putting his hometown Denton on the map, a lot has changed for Stephen who is five years deep into a relationship, has bought a home, become an uncle and climbed his way to the middle of the showbiz ladder – proving why he’s much more than a crass act.
Stephen has already made a name for himself hosting Celebs on the Farm (Channel 5), Celebs on the Ranch (MTV) and Takeshi’s Castle (Comedy Central), and was the resident Agony Uncle on Zoe Ball on Saturday/Sunday (ITV) and a series regular on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (Channel 5).
Most recently, he has recorded BBC’s new stand-up show Live From Barry Island and his debut BBC Radio 4 stand-up special Stephen Bailey: One of Many.
As well as being a prominent talent on the UK comedy circuit, Stephen has also supported the biggest names in stand-up, including Katherine Ryan, Jenny Eclair, Jason Manford, John Bishop, Sarah Millican, and currently with Micky Flanagan.
Stephen is also a proudly passionate ambassador of LGBTQ+ rights and representation within the media industry, as celebrated by leading publications including Attitude Magazine.
