SUPPORT CITY’S LIVE ENTERTAINMENT SCENE BY STREAMING FUNDRAISING PERFORMANCE

A group of over 20 Leicester venues, promoters and performers have joined together to arrange a unique online performance on Good Friday  to raise money for those organisations involved in the live entertainment scene in the city and affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Confirmed artists include award winning poet Jess Green, folk singer, songwriter and activist Grace Petrie, Curve associate artist and dancer Kesha Raithatha, Leicester based Madness ukulele tribute band The Bed & Breakfast Men, Strizzy Strauss & DJ Ninja Bob.  Venues and promoters confirmed include De Montfort Hall, Attenborough Arts Centre, Tickled Pink All Star Female Comedy, The Black Horse (Aylestone), Firebug, The Y, Duffys, The Soundhouse and The Music Café.

Organised by Big Difference Company and The Robot Needs Home Collective, the streamed performance will feature Leicester based artists performing in venues across the City and all the money raised will go towards those taking part.
