It’s time to raise a glass – the Western Beer Festival returns this September in Leicester.
The popular two-day charity event will take place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September. Western Park Beer Festival will be under the theme of ‘Summer of Sport’ at St Anne’s Hall on Letchworth Road.
Of course, it will return with the usual wide range of cask and keg beers, as well as ciders, wines and prosecco.
Western Park Beer Festival is run over two days. Friday’s event will be for adults only between 5-12 pm. On Saturday there is a family fun event in the afternoon between 12-5 pm before another adults only evening session between 6-12 pm.
The festival needs sponsors.
They need sponsors to fund the event, so more money can be raised for this year’s nominated charities. The charities are Home-Start Horizons, b-inspired and The Laura Centre.
Volunteers run this event for the benefit of the local community. The Western Park Beer Festival has been running since 2015 and has raised over £50,000 for good causes in the local area.
“It is great to be back,” says the festival chairman Jonathan Briggs, “But we do need sponsors to help us out so we can make sure more of the money we raise goes into the pockets of charities.”
Businesses who are willing to get involved can choose to sponsor a bar, a keg or a cask. They even have the opportunity to become a main sponsor for the event.
