New indoor sport and leisure venue, What A Goal in Thurmaston, is now fully open, including their brand new premium sports bar & grill, What A Shot.
Following on from a period of a soft launch, What A Goal’s opening completes the final stage of its venue development. Comprising two indoor 3G artificial grass football pitches, all-weather Action Indoor Cricket and All Star Fitness. There’s also Leicester’s newest and most spoken about soft play venue, Rascal Ranch.
Their brand new premium sports bar and grill, What A Shot, is an exciting new addition in Thurmaston. What A Shot offers all day dining, premium drinks and cocktail choices. All of this is set within great surroundings to view a wide range of sports, multiple screening positions, and a luxury private hire space in their Director’s Lounge. There is also an Indian fusion menu. This menu will be complemented by a daytime cafe offering including breakfast and lunch items. The Gym Kitchen will also provide macro balanced meals, all served to a premium standard.
What A Shot will offer a sports dining experience unrivalled anywhere else in Leicestershire.

Following on from the launch, there is a Gala Open Day on Saturday 13 August for you to come and see this new venue for yourself. With free entry, activities, family fun and entertainment throughout the day. Entry will be free throughout the day with activities from 10 am – 3 pm.
