A local family could become the face of intu Derby for 2020

One of the Midlands’ most popular shopping destinations, intu Derby, is searching the region for a local family to become ambassadors of the centre.

The exciting new role will see the winning family share opinions and experiences of all the centre has to offer on intu Derby’s website and social media channels, in exchange for a range of free family-friendly experiences and products.

From shopping to cinema trips and bowling to casual dining, intu Derby has everything to keep the whole family entertained under one roof, whatever the occasion.

The centre has now launched a competition to find its new family ambassadors to become an extension of the intu Derby team, giving them opportunity to contribute to regular blog posts and social media campaigns.

The chosen family will help shape the experiences on offer for local families in the centre, as well as sharing their own experiences and recommendations. In return, the lucky family will enjoy a series of all-expenses-paid experiences, as well as the chance to be gifted the latest toys and fashion, courtesy of intu Derby.

intu Derby is committed to introducing a wide range of leisure, fashion and lifestyle brands to the centre for the whole family to enjoy and offering an exciting, inclusive and diverse location for local families to have fun and create long-lasting memories.

To reinforce this, the shopping destination has recently invested in its food and drink offering so even the fussiest members of the family will have something to enjoy during a visit to intu Derby. Rikshaw Urban Indian Kitchen will open in April, bringing a taste of the North Indian street food scene to Derby.

Pizza Express has also recently invested in a refurbishment and award-winning brunch brand, BEAR, opened last year, offering the ideal places to grab a bite to eat with friends.

As well as exploring the new arrivals at intu Derby, the winning family will enjoy the centre’s leisure facilities, which include bowling and golf at Hollywood Bowl and Paradise Island Adventure Golf, so competitive families can put their skills to the test.

Showcase Cinema de Lux offers visitors with the ultimate movie-watching experience thanks to its leather sofas, extra leg room, a wide range of delicious drinks and snacks, and IMAX screens so cinemagoers can be at the very heart of the action.

Families will have until 16th March to fill out an online application form telling us why they should be intu Derby’s family ambassadors.

The shortlisted families will then be invited to meet the intu Derby team, with the final winning family announced soon after.
