STYLE: Shimmer, Shine & Sparkle

With the party season firmly upon us, what better time is there to reveal your inner glistening goddess with shine, shimmer and bit of sparkle? One of this season’s biggest trends and with a little help from your Fairy Clothes Mother, you’ll look like you’ve just stepped out of a magazine! Release your inner magpie and embrace all that glistens!

Embellishment is always a winter trend as its perfect for this time of the year. The high street is full of it so there’ll be no searching high and low, just make sure you pick out pieces that flatter your individual body shape, personality and of course budget. Remember what it’s all about girls… Accentuating the positives which naturally detract from the negatives…

So your problem areas are your bust and tummy, however you’ve got legs to die for, so what are we going to do? Show them off of course! The perfect party outfit for you would be a little sequin short dress with a pair of fantastic heels. Make sure though it does have some shape to it as we need to create you a waist wherever possible. This is the only time you can truly light up night-time dressing without feeling like your something out of Dallas! But if the shimmer, shine and sparkle is too much then grab that trusty LBD (Little Black Dress) out your wardrobe.

This will also be the perfect antidote for office to party dressing. Wear to work with a pair of little flat pumps and then change into some fabulous jewel encrusted shoes, throw on a cocktail ring and some beautiful chandelier earrings. Go from work to wow!

If it’s your legs you like to hide then go for a full length and fabulous frock or why not opt for a beautiful pair of evening trousers? If you are like most of the female population and are pear shaped, then these are your saviour! Ultra flattering leg-lengthening, bum minimising trousers are a cause for celebration. Think wide leg or flare, high-waisted beautifully
tailored trousers with skyscraper heels. Just be warned if you are doing a wide leg trouser then you must balance the volume out on the top and team them with a more fitted top half. A sequin or jewel encrusted top would be the perfect companion. Bang on trend and you can wear it afterwards to dress up a pair of jeans and a blazer.

A dress really is the ticket to showcase an hourglass figure, make sure it is form fitting and doesn’t just hang, it needs to embrace those curves. If you
want to get into the true festive spirit what better than a little red number? For a full on tonal look match your heels to your dress, this will also elongate your figure. If a dress isn’t really your thing then opt for some ladylike tailoring in the form of a pencil skirt. It is a must-have key
wardrobe staple that will never date. Ensure it is strict form fitting and super sexy. Team with a beautiful silk blouse tucked in and some fabulous

You will either love or hate your athletic shape. Although you may find dressing hard you can get anyway with virtually anything and always look good in the latest looks and trends. With your boyish outline we need to create shape and interest with the use of clothing and accessories. You
can get away with the biggest trends of extravagantly opulent over the top baroque, prints, embroidered, laden down with jewels, crystals and stones. You should also try shapes that give you a waist and hips. Don’t be
afraid to mix up fabrics and finishes to add texture such as leather, lace or velvet to give it another dimension of depth and interest to your figure. Mix in sharp tailoring and a bit of swagger for an after-hours wardrobe with an edge. If you feel the need to add even more with the use of jewellery make sure it’s not dainty, as bold gems are the way to accessorise this luxurious trend. Hair is the one thing that needs to remain sleek
and unadorned. Think smooth, glossy and uncomplicated locks.

It’s all about Bejewelling. Choose accessories with lashings of gold and coloured stones for maximum impact. Opulent sparkle and sumptuous glitz will always be a winter trend!
