POSTMAN SMASHES FUNDRAISING TARGET AFTER PUNISHING 12-HOUR CHALLENGE

An intrepid Kidderminster postman smashed his fundraising target for KEMP Hospice after completing a punishing endurance challenge that saw him run up and down Sion Hill 147 times, clocking 44.25 miles during his 12-hour mission on Saturday, July 11th.

The 46-year-old ex-serviceman had planned to raise £1,800 for KEMP but is now set to double that target as money continues to pour in. Shaun said the sight of people donating cash on the day spurred him on to finish what proved to be a mental and physical test.

Shaun expects his final total to be close to £4,000 thanks to the backing of local businesses Bepco, Hewett Recruitment and Rotary Creative Group.
