World’s greatest micro sculptor brings Alice in Wonderland exhibition to the Royal Town

The Royal Town has welcomed the world’s greatest micro sculptor, Dr Willard Wigan, MBE, for an unmissable Alice in Wonderland-inspired exhibition, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID has announced.

Wigan’s latest collection, ‘Through the Looking Glass,’ brings spellbinding art of minute proportions to Sutton Coldfield Town Hall throughout April.

Invisible to the naked eye, his record-breaking art offers incredible detail once magnified, often mounted in the eye of a needle.

Mike Bushell, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID Manager, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the internationally-renowned artist, Willard Wigan, to Sutton Coldfield for his incredible ‘Through the Looking Glass’ collection, which we are certain will wow visitors.

“We are dedicated to supporting venues to help bring a wide variety of events to the town centre, whether it is regular markets, live music, or theatre productions, and we hope the community will join us for this unmissable art exhibition,” he added.

Willard Wigan’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’ exhibition will run from Monday 1 April to Friday 26 April at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall.
