Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre has announced several spectacular shows which are set to explode onto their Main Stage in February 2018, including smash-hit musicals and fun family adventures.
Considered one of the greatest ever musicals, The Sound of Music tells the epic true story of the singing Von Trapp family set to Rodgers and Hammerstein’s magical score.
This much-loved musical took the world by storm when it was adapted for the big screen in 1965, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, and remains the fifth highest grossing film of all time.
It features some of the most memorable songs ever performed on screen and stage, including Edelweiss, My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, So Long Farewell and of course, The Sound of Music.
