Free Entertainment at Belvoir’s Engine Yard All Summer

Engine Yard Summer

Cookery demonstrations, live music, pop-up markets, face painting and a mini stream train are just a flavour of the free programme of summer entertainment on offer at Belvoir’s Engine Yard.

Belvoir’s Engine Yard is set in the beautiful countryside of the Vale of Belvoir. The artisan shopping village has been created from the restoration of old estate farm and industrial buildings. It is the perfect place to escape this summer with its outdoor terraces, a mini playground for little ones and woodfired pizzas made to order in the outdoor kitchen.

The estate is also introducing free parking permanently for all Engine Yard visitors. Available from Friday 5 August with a maximum stay of four hours. Combined with the array of free activities on offer, The Engine Yard has something to suit all budgets this summer.

The August Bank Holiday weekend (27-29 August) is the perfect family outing. There is live music over lunchtime each day, free face painting, a mini steam train, an old-fashioned sweet stall and cooking demonstrations from Jorge Artisan Deli.

The Grantham-based pop up market takes place every weekend. Local artists, boutiques, artisan food and drink producers, wellbeing brands, and florists take residence in the wooden chalets alongside the best of country living, artisan food and drink, and fashion. There is gift shopping on offer.

Also on the menu is the venue’s regular Gin & Jazz Night in the Balloon Bar. An intimate evening of live jazz music with magic interior created by the Duchess of Rutland. Forthcoming dates include 13 August and 17 September.

Engine Yard is open seven days a week, keep an eye on the website for news on events and activities.
